Privacy Policy

Daily Deal Brief ("we," "us") connects to a creator's Gmail and sends one daily email summarizing the brand-partnership opportunities in their inbox. This policy explains what we access, why, and the choices you have. We built this to be readable — if anything is unclear, email us at support@mydailydealbrief.com.

What we access

• Your Google account basics (name, email address, account ID) — to identify your account.
• Your Gmail messages (the gmail.modify permission) — to read incoming email so we can find and sort brand deals, mark messages read once they're in your briefing, and apply a "Brand Deal Assistant" label.

We never send email from your account, and we never delete your mail. The reply drafts in your briefing are yours to copy and send yourself.

How we use it

Each day we analyze your recent incoming email to produce your morning briefing — which pitches to respond to, which need more info, and which to skip — with a reply draft for the real deals. That briefing is the only thing we produce from your data.

Who we share it with (subprocessors)

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. We share data only with the service providers required to run the product:

• Anthropic (Claude API) — we send the content of your incoming emails to Anthropic's API to generate your briefing analysis and draft replies. Anthropic does not train its models on data submitted through its commercial API. This transfer happens only to provide the briefing feature you requested, with your consent.
• Google (Gmail API) — the source of the email we analyze, under the permission you grant.
• Email delivery & hosting — we deliver your briefing into your inbox and host the service on our own infrastructure (DigitalOcean); a third-party email provider (Brevo) may be used as a delivery fallback.

Data retention & deletion

We store the results of each analysis and your access tokens (encrypted at rest) so the daily briefing can run. You can disconnect in one click from your dashboard at any time — that revokes our access to your Gmail and stops the briefings. To have your stored data deleted, email support@mydailydealbrief.com and we will remove it.

Security

Your Google tokens are encrypted at rest, secrets are stored outside the public web directory, and database access is least-privilege. No system is perfectly secure, but we follow these practices to protect your data.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in to your dashboard. We use no advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking cookies, so there is nothing to opt into.

Your choices

• Disconnect your Gmail anytime in one click from your dashboard.
• Request deletion of your stored data by emailing us.

Children

Daily Deal Brief is for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date above and, for material changes, notify you.
